Have you been following the 12 Days of the Salusbury Christmas Fair on Facebook – a countdown to the Fair where each day we highlight one of the wonderful things to experience? Hot off the press we are delighted to announce our 5th Day of the Salusbury Christmas Fair highlight is CHRISTMAS TREES! We have partnered with Queens Park Station Flowers to bring you a selection of trees and wreaths (read on for more details) with 25% of all sales going to the school!
For those of you who are not on Facebook or don’t currently follow the FoSS page (we highly recommend you do) we wouldn’t want you to miss out so below are the first 5 days of the Salusbury Christmas Fair all in one post. We’ll bring you the full line-up next Friday!
Before we hand you over we are still need lots of volunteers. Please complete the form (remembering to add your name and contact details), email us at [email protected] or pop by the donations stall at drop off and pick-up every day this week. We also still need lots of donations for the stalls so keep them coming!
Day One of the Salusbury Christmas Fair is all about SANTA’S GROTTO! Our much loved, well established grotto is back and this year it’s bigger and better than ever! A magical land with Santa for little ones and introducing Rudolph and his lucky dip for the older kids. Children get a good deal of time with Santa or Rudolph to chat and take photos and are sent on their way with a lovely gift.
On the Second Day of the Salusbury Christmas Fair we are lusting over Amelie’s gorgeous handmade pendants. Treat yourself or a loved one to a handmade creation from a Salusbury alumni! Amelie (now in Year 8) makes polymer clay pendants from scratch and sells them at the school fairs with all proceeds going to the school. Ideal for stocking fillers and each piece guaranteed to be unique!
On the Third Day of the Salusbury Christmas Fair, we are getting excited about face painting. Our always popular face painting stall is manned by some of our very talented parents who create fabulous, festive designs (as well as some regular favourites for good measure). Children always walk away with a big smile and shhh but they paint adults too!
On the Fourth Day of the Salusbury Christmas Fair it’s time to drool over the Yuletide Food & Drink on offer. Back by popular demand is our locally famous Christmas in a Bun with some other options for good measure including Hot Dogs and Pizzas. For dessert there are sweet waffles and tea or coffee! And if anyone’s looking for the FoSS committee on the day, we’ll be by the mulled wine stall! (Just to manage expectations, whilst our Christmas Buns look awesome, the photo is a Hawksmoor burger #wontlookquitelikethis)
On the Fifth Day of the Salusbury Christmas Fair we have some exciting news to share with you! We are delighted to announce that we are partnering with Queens Park Station Flowers to sell Christmas Trees and Wreaths at this years’ fair. Offering a selection of Nordic Spruces, Nordmann Firs and Fraser Firs in pots and blocks and a variety of heights (mini trees through to full size), there’s the perfect tree for everyone. Wreaths can be plain for you to decorate at home or embellished and ready to hang. You can pay by cash or card. Best of all? A percentage of all sales go to the school! Spread the word and bring those sledges to carry your tree home.
